Richard will be sorely missed by his wife and sons, who he was very proud of. He was a very intelligent and articulate man with a wealth of knowledge which he loved to share with others at any given opportunity. His failing health in recent years has been a source of profound sadness for those who had the good fortune to know him.
May you rest in peace Richard, it has been a privilege to know you. Graeme
Richard was always supportive of my business, generously taking time to offer his advice, sharing his knowledge and wisdom, educating me while working for him. He also gave me the opportunity to work for his family business, which was one of my most challenging and enthralling professional experiences, allowing me to significantly develop my skills, which changed my perspective, direction, and opened up new horizons. I feel privileged to have known him, and what I learned from him set me on a new path. His influence will be with me for the rest of my life. I’ll miss visiting him, intending to sort out computer problems, but instead receiving mini lectures in business, economics, sociology, politics, and numerous other subjects I’d previously been completely unaware of. Thank you Richard, for your immensely positive influence. Rest in peace.
